Maintaining a lower profile compared to the more famous names around it, the village of Fidakia (i.e. “Small snakes”) is a verdant settlement built at an altitude of 960 meters, overlooking Lake Kremasta. Like a well-kept secret, it takes some effort to reach its enchanting world, as it is only accessed after crossing the forest and driving along the serpentine road.
It is a small settlement of great charm that is appealing to everyone.
No one can resist the authenticity of the landscape, the cobbled streets, the picturesque square, the peace and tranquillity it inspires. The famous “Tsagaralona” at the west of the village offers a panoramic view of the lake. Here you will enjoy perhaps the best sunset of Evritania.
The settlement is located 25 km from Karpenissi and has been declared listed.
