The small village imposes its green beauty, on the slopes of Mount Neraidovouni, opposite the mountain Timfristos, at an altitude of 1100m…

Myriki - with a view of Karpenisi and Velouchi

Myriki is a beautiful mountain village in Evrytania, built in a privileged position opposite Karpenisi, at the foot of Neraidovouni. Just 8 kilometers from Karpenisi, it combines the tranquility of the mountain with easy access to the city and is an ideal destination for a short excursion into nature.

…The village stands out for its panoramic view of Velouchi and Karpenisi, as well as the Potamia Valley, Kaliakouda, Chelidona, Koniskos and Neraidovouni. From many points in Myriki, the landscape opens up impressively, while the forest roads and paths offer beautiful routes through the fir forest, where the view changes at every turn.

The European path E4 holds a special place among hiking routes. The Karpenisi-Myriki section, approximately 8 kilometers long, connects the city with the central square of the village, via Kallithea. From Myriki, the E4 continues towards Krikello, crossing forest areas 14 kilometers long. Thus, Myriki is an important station of the European hiking network and a natural link between Karpenisi, Krikello and the wider mountain routes of Evrytania.

At the same time, the Myriki forest road is a favorite route for residents of the village and Karpenisi, but also for athletes who choose it for running and training. Nature, exercise and a unique view combine in a landscape that is worth discovering by the visitor.

The close distance from Karpenisi, the view of Velouchi and the rich natural environment make Myriki a special destination for those seeking nature, hiking and a quieter side of Evrytania.
